If it was a RevPoints Shops purchase
- Activate the named offer in the app before paying.
- Use the channel shown: an online payment does not satisfy an in-store offer, or vice versa.
- For an online offer, complete payment within 30 minutes of opening it.
- Follow the merchant screen's payment and promotional-code rules.
- Revolut's current help says eligible Shops points are credited within an hour after the transaction completes; the legal terms can govern exceptions and reversals.
When to contact Support
Escalate after the payment is complete and the current rules still indicate eligibility. Share the transaction, date, merchant, amount and any activated offer rather than relying on a screenshot of a general promotion.
Missing-RevPoints questions
Do I earn points if RevPoints was not activated?
No. You must join or activate RevPoints before you are eligible to earn and use points.
Can a pending payment explain missing RevPoints?
Yes. Check the transaction status first. A payment that is pending, reversed, refunded or cancelled is not a completed qualifying purchase.
Why did an ordinary-looking card payment earn no points?
Revolut excludes several transaction and merchant categories. The merchant category recorded on the account can matter more than the name shown on the statement.
Why did my Shops purchase miss the boosted rate?
Common causes are no activation, using the wrong online or in-store channel, paying after the 30-minute online window, or not following the merchant's payment instructions.
How long do eligible Shops points take to appear?
Revolut's current UK Shops help says they are credited within an hour after the transaction completes. Offer terms, reversals and account-specific issues can still affect the result.
What evidence should I give Revolut Support?
Provide the completed transaction, date, merchant, amount and any activated offer, and explain which current eligibility rule you believe the payment met.
