Checked against Revolut's RevPoints Terms (updated 13 March 2026), a few points above deserve correcting and completing. Is expiry the same on every plan? Yes — every point expires exactly 3 years after it posts, on Standard through Ultra alike; no plan extends it. What order are points spent in? The only ordering rule in the Terms is that purchased points are redeemed first — and Spare Change round-ups officially buy points, so they fall in that bucket. The Terms contain no general first-in-first-out rule and no special Spare Change expiry exception; where this page or others describe one, trust the Terms.
What happens if you close your account? All points are forfeited — earned and purchased alike — whether you close it or Revolut does. Redeem before closing; the only money-back route is the 14-day cooling-off refund on purchased points. And once points expire they are gone: support cannot restore them.
Practical tip: the app flags points expiring within 90 days — for big batches, set your own calendar reminder about 35 months after they post. Last verified: 8 July 2026.
