Earn 10x RevPoints on Uber and Lime: how it actually works (2026)

Last verified: 17 July 2026 · Live since June 2026 · No end date announced

Pay for Uber rides — or Lime bikes and scooters booked through the Uber app — with a Revolut card inside the Uber app — once you've opted in to RevPoints — and you earn a tenfold boost to the RevPoints you'd normally earn: 10x your plan's base rate, not a flat 10 points per £1. That means 1 point per £1 on Standard, 5 on Metal, and only Ultra reaches the headline 10 points per £1. The boost runs in 25 UK and EEA markets with no announced end date. Here's the per-plan maths and the three eligibility rules that trip people up.

What you actually earn, by plan

PlanBase rateOn Uber & Lime (10x)£120/month on Uber = points per year
Standard1 pt per £101 pt per £11,440
Plus1 pt per £101 pt per £11,440
Premium1 pt per £42.5 pts per £13,600
Metal1 pt per £25 pts per £17,200
Ultra1 pt per £110 pts per £114,400

At our usual 1–2p-per-point value via airline transfers, Metal's 7,200 points are worth roughly £72–144 a year; Ultra's 14,400 roughly £144–288. Base rates from the standard earn ladder — see which plan earns most.

The three eligibility rules that trip people up

1. You must have opted in to RevPoints first. Having a Revolut account isn't enough — RevPoints is a separate opt-in in the Revolut app, and the boost is for users aged 18+.

2. Pay with a Revolut card inside the Uber app. The Revolut card needs to be the payment method saved in the Uber app. Paying through Apple Pay with a Revolut card underneath doesn't count.

3. Lime only counts via the Uber app. Lime bike and scooter rides earn the boost only when booked through the Uber app — rides booked in the separate Lime app don't qualify.

What counts — and what doesn't

Launch coverage lists Uber rides and Lime bookings made through the Uber app as eligible. Uber Eats isn't mentioned as eligible, so don't count on food delivery earning the boost. The boost applies in 25 markets across the UK and EEA; no end date has been announced, and we'll log any change on our news & changes page.

Is it worth switching your Uber payment method?

Yes — it's free value if you already use both apps. Switching the saved payment method to a Revolut card takes a minute, and on Metal a £15 airport ride earns 75 points instead of the usual 7.5. But don't upgrade plans just for this: even £120 a month of Uber spend on Metal generates only roughly £72–144 a year in total point value — and the extra points versus Standard are worth less still — which doesn't cover the Metal fee. Treat it as a bonus on spend you were making anyway.

FAQ

Is the Uber boost 10 points per £1 for everyone?

No. It's a tenfold boost to your plan's base earn rate: Standard and Plus earn 1 point per £1 on Uber, Premium 2.5, Metal 5, and Ultra 10. Only Ultra reaches the headline figure.

Does Uber Eats earn 10x RevPoints?

Launch coverage lists Uber rides and Lime bookings through the Uber app as eligible — Uber Eats isn't mentioned, so assume it doesn't earn the boost unless Revolut says otherwise.

Do Lime rides booked in the Lime app qualify?

No — Lime rides earn the boost only when booked through the Uber app with a Revolut card as the payment method.

When does the Uber 10x offer end?

No end date has been announced. It launched in June 2026 across 25 UK and EEA markets; if that changes we'll post it on our news & changes page.
