No, you can't convert RevPoints to cash — here's what to do instead

Last verified: 17 July 2026

No. RevPoints cannot be converted to cash — there is no withdrawal, no bank transfer and no cash-out feature, and Revolut's RevPoints terms don't allow selling points or transferring them to another person. What you can do is redeem them for things that substitute for cash: money off purchases at checkout, gift cards at shops you already use, or — for the most value, though the least cash-like — airline miles. Here's the full ranking.

The closest things to cash, ranked

SubstituteHow cash-like?Approx. value per point
Revolut Pay at checkoutMost cash-like — money off purchases you'd make anywaySee the redemption guide
Gift cardsCash-like if it's a retailer you already shop at~0.7p
Revolut Stays bookingsCash-like only if you were booking a stay anyway~1p
Accor ALL hotel creditHotel credit, not cash~0.85p
Airline milesLeast cash-like — typically the highest value (up to ~2p)~1–2p
eSIMs, airport loungesNot cash-like — niche use~0.5p

If you simply want your points to reduce your spending, Revolut Pay at checkout or a gift card for somewhere you already shop is the practical answer. If you want the most value per point and can use flights, airline transfers usually win.

Why you can't sell or transfer points either

Revolut's RevPoints terms don't allow selling points or transferring them to other people — there's no point-transfer feature between Revolut accounts, and breaching the terms risks forfeiting your balance. If you see anyone offering to buy RevPoints, walk away: the points can't legitimately change hands.

Don't sit on them

Because there's no cash escape hatch, unredeemed points are only worth what you eventually spend them on — and they expire three years after you earn them. Pick a redemption that fits how you actually spend, and check the full programme guide for every option. If Revolut ever adds a cash-out route, our news & changes log is where we'll track it.

FAQ

Can I withdraw RevPoints to my bank account?

No. There is no cash conversion, withdrawal or bank-transfer option for RevPoints. (The one exception isn't a cash-out: under the EEA terms rolling out in July 2026, Revolut can deduct points at up to €0.02 each to offset a negative account balance — that's involuntary. UK terms are unaffected.)

Can I sell my RevPoints or give them to someone else?

No. Revolut's RevPoints terms don't allow selling or transferring points to another person, and there's no transfer feature between accounts. Breaching the terms risks forfeiture.

What's the most cash-like way to use RevPoints?

Spending them at checkout via Revolut Pay — it directly offsets money you'd have spent — or redeeming gift cards (~0.7p per point) at retailers you already use.

What happens to my points if I close my account instead?

You lose them all — earned points and any points you've bought directly from Revolut as a top-up (third-party buying and selling is what the terms prohibit). See our account-closure guide for the redeem-before-closing checklist.
